Meet Our Board
Chairman of the Board
I was born and raised in Mexico. I have a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a MBA. I have a long career in Finance leadership positions in top Fortune 500 Multinational companies. I have experience volunteering in different organizations and serving in other Boards. My husband is an army veteran. We settled in Texas in 2010. We have two children and a fur one. We have partnered with DSCA since 2017. We attend Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church. I have served on the DSCA board since 2018, and as Chairman since 2021. As a Chairman I only vote when there is a tie. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, traveling, and using my gifts to help others. I feel honored to be part of the DSCA Board and contribute to further its mission to train Ambassadors for Christ.
Head of School
Vision and creativity- two things of which I do not inherently possess outside of the Holy Spirit. God knows this and has given inspiration from the initial vision of creating a Classical Christian school to future vision of growth and excellence for His glory. The vision of DSCA is God-given collectively through its Board, and it is an honor to be a part of that process.
As Head of School, I have a non-voting seat, but serve an important role as a voice for the community, families, students, and staff. I am confident in the work God is doing through DSCA and look forward to seeing the fruit for His kingdom.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Technology from Coastal Carolina University, and I have worked in the Information Technology field for my entire career. My husband and I decided to call Texas home in 2014, and we have been a part of the DSCA family since the fall of 2019. My husband serves in the United States Navy Reserves and I am currently an area lead for enterprise accounts at a high tech company. Being a military family and a full time working mom presents its challenges, but we have been able to navigate this by the grace of God and with the help from the amazing people at DSCA.
I believe that the Christian values that are held and practiced at DSCA serve an important role in today’s world and are a positive voice for our community and families. I feel blessed to have found DSCA, and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve on the board.
The hand of God and how he works in all of our lives truly amazes me. I am so thankful for the adventure that he sent us on that led us to Dripping Springs and DSCA. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education degree with a specialization in music that I received from East Texas Baptist University. I have had the opportunity to teach in both public and private Christian schools in the Houston metroplex. I met my husband, Greg, at ETBU, and we have two boys. Our youngest attends DSCA and absolutely loves it! For a while, I owned my own business in interior decorating and event planning. I still have a passion for design as well as music. I have traveled in many singing groups and was very active in music ministry in different churches in Houston. I am honored to serve as a board member for DSCA. I love the heart and mission of DSCA to raise our children up to be Kingdom Builders. I am excited to see all that God will continue to accomplish through our wonderful staff, students and families.
“I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” – Romans 1.16a
I am grateful to be here at DSCA and have two objectives: First, for the faithful proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this community. Second, for the future success of DSCA. God is using this place for His Kingdom and it is an honor to support this work. I am a West Point graduate, combat veteran, and co-own a local business here with my wife, Stefanie. Christ redeemed me in 1992 and has been good to reform me through His Word. Stefanie and I have been married since 2009 and have two wonderful daughters. God placed Dripping Springs on our hearts while we were dating and we knew someday we would be here. We long to see lives changed by the Gospel and are here to be labors in the harvest
